About the Team
After suffering a heartbreaking
loss in the 2013 College World Series Championship Series the Mississippi State Bulldogs enter 2014 with a huge chip on their
shoulder. Sometimes the bitterness of defeat in such an important series can propel a team to work even harder during the
offseason and become a team on a mission, determined not to come up just short again which is exactly what the Bulldogs and
their fans are hoping will be the case. One of the biggest rivals of the Mississippi State Bulldogs is of course the Ole Miss
Rebels against whom the Bulldogs compete for the Mayor's Trophy. The Bulldogs have a winning overall record in the series
at 90-52. Another big rival of the Bulldogs is the Louisiana State University Tigers. This rivalry dates all the way back
to 1907 and the Bulldogs also boast a winning record over the Tigers at 201-166-1.
quite compares to the time honored tradition of taking in a college baseball game. After all, there is a reason baseball is
regularly referred to as America's Pastime. From the smell of the freshly cut grass to the National Anthem echoing through
the stands and the crack of the bat as a hitter connects with a pitch, to the sight of a ball flying over the outfield wall
and the taste of a fresh hot dogs or Cracker Jacks, attending a baseball game is a a sensory experience like no other and
the memories it produces will last a lifetime. The ultimate family day or night out, a baseball game is the perfect bonding
experience whether seeing the game with family, friends, or co-workers. As the innings and pitches pile up everyone in attendance
can feel the intensity pick up as every pitch, run, and base runner, begin to matter more and more. By the time the seventh
inning stretch rolls around a break from the action is welcome just to settle the nerves and enjoy a traditional song before
getting right back to all the excitement for the final two and a half innings. As you file out of the stadium after the last
out you likely will already be wanting to start making plans for your next visit to the ballpark.
State Bulldogs SEC Baseball
The SEC Conference is usually thought of as a powerhouse football conference, and although
this is true, the conference's history in college baseball should not be overlooked. Teams from the SEC are regulars in the

Carolina making an appearance 11 times and winning it all twice. LSU went on a streak where they won five championships between
1991 and 2000. Every game in the SEC is capable of being a legendary match up so be sure to get your tickets as soon as possible.
