Wachovia Arena tickets are now available for all Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins
ice hockey games and any other events that might be held at this venue. There will be a multitude of different concerts and
special events at this versatile and accessible arena. Secure your tickets today, and be prepared for a night of action and
excitement.
This arena was built in 1998 and was originally named the First Union Arena. When Wachovia Bank bought out First Union
in 2003, the name of the arena had to be changed, so now we call it the Wachovia Arena. Since the arena is multi-purpose,
the Wachovia Arena can be manipulated to host several different kinds of sporting
events, such as basketball, hockey, and rodeos. The max capacity for basketball is about 8,300, although for hockey it is
slightly less.
There's really nothing quite like the thrill of going to a minor league professional hockey game or an arena football
game here at the Wachovia Center. The action will be fast-paced, thrilling and hard-hitting, and the ticket prices will
probably leave enough spare change around to get you and your buds some hotdogs at the concession stands. So why not check
out a Penguins game this year?
