MoNique was working at a phone company when she decided to become a professional comedienne. Shes never looked back, starting with a starring role as Nikki Parker in the UPN show The Parkers, which was her first big break. From there, she began earning roles in Hollywood films like Domino and Shadow Boxer, and is probably best recognized from her starring role in the 2002 flick The Queens of Comedy.
