Montana State Bobcats Basketball Road Schedule
The Montana State Bobcats are on the prowl for big victories on
the road this season, and they're going to have to play well to take down a lot of the tough opponents that they'll face away
from home this season. The Bobcats have a lot of good players on their roster this season, and 2014-15 could end up being
a banner year for this Montana State group. The team calls the Big Sky Conference home, a league that is known for housing
some top-notch competition on an annual basis. The Bobcats would love to shoot up the standings and show the rest of the conference
that this is going to be their year. Last season the Bobcats posted a 14-17 record that included a 9-11 mark in conference
play. Those are respectable numbers, but the team is going to have to play a lot better if they hope to be the one standings
at the top come season's end. The Bobcats can certainly improve their chances by playing better away from home this season.
Earning road victories is never an easy task, something that the Bobcats are well aware of, but they're ready to give every
last ounce of energy on the court this season. The Bobcats could definitely use some help in the stands when they match up
with their toughest foes, and you can be one of the diehards that travels with the team this season. The Bobcats have a multitude
of great games away from home this season.
The Bobcats will face a tough game early in the season when they take on
the UCLA Bruins on November 14th. The Bruins have won many National Championships and are one of the best programs in college
hoops. Beating them at Pauley Pavilion certainly won't come easily, and the Bobcats will have a disadvantage in the talent
department. However, basketball is not all about talent. With execution, continuity and effort the Bobcats could match the
Bruins point for point until they take the game at the very end. It would be incredible to see the Bobcats make it happen
on the road against a powerhouse like UCLA, so make sure to be there.
The Bobcats will certainly be gearing up for their
November 23rd matchups with the Kentucky Wildcats as well. Kentucky should be one of the best teams in the entire nation this
season, as they again have a star-studded freshman class ready to hit the court and showcase their incredible talents. The
Wildcats also have some good returning players, potentially making this the strongest Kentucky team since Anthony Davis led
the Wildcats to the National Championship several years ago. Montana State will have to pull out all the stop to keep pace
with the Wildcats, but a victory against Kentucky would be one of the biggest in school history. There are some other great
matchups awaiting the Bobcats on the road this season, so be sure to take a look at the full road schedule.
