Montana State's main rivalry in football exists with the Montana Grizzlies. The two schools
play each other once a year in what is alternately referred to as the Cats-Grizz game or the Brawl of the Wild. Leading up

The Montana State Bobcats are the only college football program to have won a championship at three different
competition levels: NCAA Division I-A, NCAA Division II, and NAIA. The historic program has won a conference championship
in 8 out of the last 9 decades and altogether has won 15 conference championships. In their long and storied history the Bobcats
have produced 22 consensus All Americans.
