Montreal Canadiens tickets - Habs tickets

Montreal Canadiens Latest News:

The Canadiens are getting surprising mileage out of rookie winger Jiri Sekac. The 22-year-old is on a three-game point streak after scoring two goals in Montreal's 6-2 win over the Kings on Friday night and has shown instant chemistry with new linemate Sven Andrighetto. The Habs penciled in the 21-year-old Swiss to spend the season in the AHL, but it'll be tough to send him back after this first impression. Andrighetto is the first Canadien to get on the scoresheet in each of his first three games since Pierre Mondou in 1977. -- Allan Muir

2014-2015 Montreal Canadiens Schedule

If you're in the Montreal area and looking for a night of unbelievable hockey, you're definitely in the right spot, as the Canadiens are known for having a great roster loaded with players that know how to light up the scoreboard in a real hurry. Come out and see an exciting game packed with highlight-reel goals, spectacular saves and bone-jarring hits that will have you jumping out of your seat on a regular basis. In 2013-2014, the Canadiens notched 100 points and made it right back to the postseason, which gives fans plenty of optimism as they look to build on the experience and make a big move up the standings in the East this year.

With a talented team routinely hitting the ice, Bell Centre tickets are always all the rage around Montreal, and that's something that you'll definitely understand loud and clear if you get out and see the big game the way it was meant to be seen. Be there for all of the twists and turns as the Canadiens hope to pile up the wins and give their fans another memorable season of bench-gripping action that will be the talk of the town. Taking care of home ice is obviously extremely important for their chances this year, and fans are as eager as ever to see if they can bring home some prominent wins at Bell Centre throughout the year.

But fans around these parts also don't forget about the road matchups either, as they are just as integral to the Canadiens' success from one year to the next. Head out to see the Canadiens do their thing and you'll see that this is a great fan base that is never exactly lacking in passion and energy, helping to create the perfect backdrop that you definitely need to be a part of sooner or later for a highly anticipated road game. Either way, when the game is on the line and you're glued to the edge of your seat – and to the action down on the ice – there is nothing else quite like hockey played at the highest possible level.

Montreal Canadiens Team Info

With P.K. Subban and Max Pacioretty dominating all over the ice and giving their Eastern Conference foes fits, this a team that you absolutely need to keep an eye on this season as they look to put together yet another memorable season of hockey. But this is a team that isn't just about the scoring talent either, as they're known for having a great defense as well anchored by some serious talent at goaltender as well. And it nearly all came together in 2013-2014, as the Canadiens marched through their first two rounds in the playoffs and gave Eastern Conference champion New York (Rangers) a serious scare as well, showing that this is a team that has all kinds of potential. When you're there in the middle of a nail-biter that could go either way, with the Canadiens looking to put one more big goal into the back of the net to seal the deal, you'll see why the Canadiens have created so much buzz around Montreal.

The NHL Experience

These guys simply need to be seen first-hand at some point, as you'll be treated to a game filled with unbelievable moments that you won't soon forget as the best hockey players in the world battle it out on the ice. No matter how many other different ways there are to see a big game these days, there is still nothing that come close to duplicating the live-viewing experience, though that's not something that you're going to figure out if you plan on sitting at home and trying to fabricate the atmosphere of the rink. Watching the late-game drama unfold before your very eyes is a different type of experience that will give you a whole new appreciate for your team, as being there in the trenches with the Canadiens is the only way to truly appreciate NHL hockey.

Montreal Canadiens History

With 24 Stanley Cup championships to their name, the Canadiens are the winningest team in the history of the NHL, making them an iconic part of Montreal sports scene in the process. Guy Lafleur, Ken Dryden and Jean Beliveau represent just a few of the all-time greats that have played their best hockey for the Canadiens, and you never know who is going to be the next sensational player to break through with a banner season. The Canadiens have been so successful, in fact, that they're frequently mentioned along with the New York Yankees as one of the most prolific pro sports franchises in North America, helping to create the type of winning tradition that you're just not going to find anywhere else in pro hockey.

Montreal Canadiens Trivia

How many straight seasons did Guy Lafleur lead the league in points while playing for Montreal?

The answer is three, which he accomplished between 1975 and 1978. In those years, Lafleur was an absolute monster, culminating with his 1976-1977 season in which he racked up 80 assists and 56 goals to set the franchise record for points with 136. Lafleur would end up surpassing 100 points in six straight seasons for the Canadiens, solidifying himself as one of the greatest right-wingers in NHL history.

Montreal Canadiens Fans

Even though the players are the main draw, obviously, the fans are also an integral part of the whole experience, as the fans around Bell Centre are known for showing their passion in a big way for all of the big home games during a Canadiens' season. This is a sport that is known to have fans buzzing all over town on a regular basis throughout the year, and the excitement level will be nothing short of unbelievable for all of the biggest and most anticipated matchups on the 2014-2015 Montreal Canadiens' schedule.
