The original lineup of the Moody Blues consisted of Michael Pinder, Ray Thomas, Denny
Laine, Graeme Edge, and Clint Warwick. The first time the group stepped out on stage as a band was in 1964 in Birmingham,
England. The group landed a recording deal in 1964 with Decca Records, and they got to work right away on creating new music.
Their first single, "Steal Your Heart Away", didn't make it onto the music charts, but they started to gain a serious fan
base when they appeared on the cult TV show Ready Steady Go! Their second single, "Go Now", was released in 1964 and immediately
