MysteryLand Music Festival. This one-of-a-kind international festival is going stateside. Now people across the United States,
as well as across the world, can enjoy the eclectic music and activities Mysteryland has to offer.
plans to hit the famed Woodstock, NY venue where one of the first major music festivals was held in 1969. The festival will
be taking over Bethel Woods for two days from May 24-25, 2014. If the festival proves to be popular, it may expand to other
venues in the U.S. that support its mission of bringing people together through music.
Mysteryland offers a variety
of electronic music acts as well as activities. The festival usually includes a healing garden where people can practice yoga
under the guidance of an experienced master, art installations and all sorts of music. It features various big-name and lesser-known
musical acts and has different musical programs lined up at different times.
Mysteryland is the oldest
dance music festival in the Netherlands. When it was created, it was the only festival of its kind in its home country. It
soon expanded from one weekend in August in the Netherlands to include a sister festival in Chile. Coming to America was a
natural extension of its mission, and it is thrilled to be coming to Woodstock because the Woodstock Festival of 1969 brought
people together from all over the globe via music, which is what Mysteryland hopes to do with all of its festivals.

In the early 1990s, MysteryLand Music Festival was a small, one-day festival in the Netherlands.
Although the festival grew in popularity and size, it did not expand internationally until 2001. That year, it held a festival
in Chile as well as the Netherlands, making it an international festival for the first time. This festival proved popular
enough that MysteryLand was able to continue hosting two festivals a year and attract more high-quality acts. In 2013, MysteryLand
announced that it was expanding to the United States for the first time. It also decided to add a Friday night component to

Mysteryland has featured a variety of talented performers from all over
the world. Some notable past performers include New Jersey based band Xenon, whose self-produced first album, America's
New Design, sold 20,000 units (considered impressive for an independently produced debut), Dutch artist Isis Van De Wel,
who is one of the first female Dutch DJs and whose mix albums 100% Isis and 100% Isis 2 both hit the Dutch Top
10, and the German DJ and singer Axwell, whose albums Sweet Disposition, Save the World and Don't You Worry Child
were all Grammy-nominated.
Mysteryland Music Festival is usually held partially outdoors.
Participants can pick and choose the bands they want to hear by checking out the lineup ahead of time and can stay for as
long as they want after purchasing tickets for a particular day or the entire weekend. Participants also have the opportunity
to visit the Healing Gardens to practice yoga and meditation, and can purchase food from a variety of cultures while at the
