NCAA Tournament St Louis Tickets

2014 NCAA Tournament Tickets St. Louis

When the NCAA Tournament is heating up in St. Louis, you can bank on the Scottrade Center to be absolutely hopping with passionate fans who pour into the stands to be a part of the excitement. There is nothing quite like being there when the big game is on the line and thousands of your fellow fans are looking to see an epic finale, as this is a sport that is one of the most renowned spectator sports for a reason. Once you're there watching two powerhouses trade baskets with everything on the line, you'll see that this is a sport that doesn't get contained by that disappointing little flatscreen you have sitting in your living room.

So if you're looking for a great basketball absolutely loaded with the stars of both today and tomorrow, you've obviously come to the right place. It doesn't get much better than the NCAA Tournament, so put down your office bracket and get out to a great game packed to the brim with excitement as some of the best college basketball players in the country clash with everything on the line in a matchup that is sure to have plenty of twists and turns that you'll be talking about long after the final whistle.

The Experience

There's nothing like being in the stands when the game is on the line, so ditch the couch, step away from the smart phone and get ready to see some of the top teams in the nation from a completely different level. This is a sporting event that is one of the most watched in the entire world, but no matter how many ways there are to follow the action, there is still nothing like actually being there to join in the heart-pounding excitement first-hand as programs clash with their eyes on capturing the ultimate price – the national title.

The Teams

When you get this far in your college basketball season, well, it isn't because there is a lack of talent, and you'll see some of the most explosive players in the country no matter the teams that end up on display in St. Louis this season. Come out and watch all of the rim-rocking jams, spectacular blocked shots and nail-biting moments as two teams with title aspirations take to the floor hoping to put on a show and make a move deeper in the bracket. We know it can be tempting to stay at home and keep your bracket out, but it's a much different thing to be there for all the crucial moments of a big game that you know everyone will be talking about around St. Louis.

NCAA Tournament Trivia

Did you know that Lew Alcinder won the Most Outstanding Player award three consecutive seasons?

Later known as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Alcinder was nothing short of a legend when he dominated for UCLA and helped them bring home nearly a handful of titles while he was playing under John Wooden. Alcinder won the award in 1967, 1968 and 1969, ushering the Bruins into an era of dominance that has never been matched in college basketball.

NCAA Tournament History

Though there were championships before 1984, the modern March Madness technically got started back in that glorious year, when the March Madness began and the Tournament started on its path to becoming the behemoth that it is these days. Though St. Louis is also known as a phenomenal baseball town – arguably the best – it's also just a great sports town in general, which is something that you'll see up close and personal if you make it out and witness the best college players in the country battle it out on the hardwood. This is just one of those great sporting events that should be on every sports fan's bucket list, and you'll see why that is as soon as you're there for the opening tip of a highly anticipated game that you've been thinking about all week leading up to game time.

The Fans

The only thing guaranteed this year at the NCAA Tournament in St. Louis is there are no guarantees. Rankings matter little in March Madness, because everyone knows the battles between Davids and Goliaths are as unpredictable as they are epic. The fans in St. Louis will be out in full force at Scottrade Center when the Tournament tips off, giving you plenty of reasons to put down the remote and join the unbelievable buzz of the crowd for some of the most anticipated college basketball games of the entire season.

And once you're actually there and soaking in the vibes and intensity of the other fans, you'll understand loud and clear why there is simply no duplicating the arena experience anywhere else. College basketball fans from all over the country will be traveling to St. Louis to be a part of the rim-rocking excitement, making it simply the place to be if you're down for a little bit of March Madness.
