NCAA Tournament - West Regional Schedule
Every team in Division I basketball has dreams of making it to the Final
Four, and teams taking part in the West Regional semifinals and finals have nearly realized that dream. By the time the second
weekend of the Tournament arrives and Sweet Sixteen play begins, the cream has risen to the top and the best teams in the
country are still alive. The four teams playing in the West Regional are a mere two wins away from heading to the Final Four
and not a single one of them wants to see their season come to an early end. Each of the teams has a legitimate shot at becoming
the next National Champion but only one will be cutting down the nets and heading on to play next Saturday. Los Angeles has
been chosen to host the West Regional in 2015 and StubHub has the tickets that will allow you to be a part of all the action.
West Regional will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, March 26th and Saturday March
28th with the winner moving on to play in the Final Four, The Staples Center is one of the most popular venues in the United
States and serves as home to the NBA's Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers, the Los Angeles Kings of the NHL, and
the Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA, in addition to hosting a wide variety of other events. Many of the best teams in the Tournament
have played in the West Regional over the years and the environment at Staples Center for these three games will be nothing
short of electric. The Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight have some of the best games of the entire Tournament and there is not
a college hoops fan in the country who would not love to be at Staples Center for the West Regional so start making the appropriate
plans to be in Los Angeles in March as soon as possible.
When the Regional round of the NCAA
Tournament begins we are left with the best 16 teams in the country. Teams that were just glad to have made the Tournament
have gone home and those that are left are all legitimate contenders. The players, coaches, and fans all know that they are
only two wins of making it to the Final Four and the nervous tension in the air increases with each passing minute. No one
on any of the teams wants to see their season come to an end, especially those who are nearing the end of their college career
whether it is because they are graduating or that they are leaving early for the NBA Draft. Some of these players are already
destined to be the next superstars in the NBA and you can see them playing while they are still in college.
There is nothing else in the world of sports that can match the excitement surrounding the NCAA Tournament
and it is only by being in the arena for the games that you can really feel that passion for yourself. Featuring many of the
best college basketball players in the world alongside some of the most passionate fans to be found anywhere, the atmosphere
surrounding these games is unique unto itself. When you set foot into Staples Center for the West Regional semifinals and
finals this will all be evident. As the teams prepare for the opening tip off, fans get out of their seats and enthusiastically
cheer for their favorite team. The game continues full of end to end action, big time shots, and clutch defensive stops. Before
long, the the clock is winding down in the second half and the two sides are entwined in yet another breath-taking NCAA Tournament
game. Your palms get sweatier with each trip down the floor and each time a player from your favorite team lets loose a shot
you hold your breath until the ball tickles the twine. The back and forth action continues until the final buzzer when the
