Though they've had some appearances in the Big Dance as well, it really all came together in the
NIT for the Huskers that year, as they ran the table and put an exclamation point on the end of their season. Since then,

Nebraska Cornhuskers History
The Nebraska Cornhuskers boast
a proud basketball program that has won a lot of games over the years. A program doesn't gain that kind of tradition without
having some fantastic players hit the court over the years. The Huskers have had some great ones throughout their history,
one of whom was Eric Piatkowski, who played for the team from 1991 to 1994. Piatkowski played so well in his tenure with the
Huskers that the program retired his number 52 in 2006. After his days as a Husker, Piatkowski went on to play in the NBA,
as did former Huskers like Stu Lantz and Grant Simmons. You never know when the Huskers are going to take it to the next level
with the next superstar in team history, giving you plenty of reasons to put down the remote and get right in the thick of
the action this season.
When two great teams are going head-to-head and the buzz of the
crowd is steadily rising as the clock dwindles in the second half, you'll see that there is nothing like college basketball
played at the highest possible level, particularly when it's a rising team like the Nebraska Cornhuskers. With a great crowd
that pours into the stands to provide the perfect backdrop for a big game, you'll end up with an amazing experience that makes
watching in your living room dull in comparison. No matter where the game goes down, watching college basketball at this level
is simply something to behold, and as soon as you're there joining in the rim-rocking excitement, you'll be glad that you're
not sitting anywhere else.
