New England Patriots Schedule

There has arguably been no team in the NFL more successful in the 21st Century than the New England Patriots. The start of a new NFL season comes with high expectations throughout Massachusetts and the rest of New England as the Patriots are set to bring out another team reloaded with talent ready to make another run at a Super Bowl. As a result of their unbridled success the Patriots need to be ready to enter every game ready to take the best shots of whichever team they face. The Pats are consistently one of the best in the league as long as Bill Belichick is calling the splays and Tom Brady is taking the snaps. The Patriots enter the 2014 season as the reigning AFC East champions and will be aiming to continue their dominance over division rivals the New York Jets, the Miami Dolphins, and the Buffalo Bills. Last year's Pats team fell to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship but they spent the offseason adding new talent and making adjustments to the roster that should have them once again headed to the Super Bowl. The home opener for the Patriots at Gillette Stadium takes place on September 21st when the Oakland Raiders come to town. Match ups between the Patriots and Raiders are always furious as they conjure memories of the infamous "tuck rule" playoff game from back in the early 2000's. The Pats' first home division game will be held on October 16th when the New York Jets arrive in Foxborough. The Jets are constantly eager to take down the Patriots and this will undoubtedly be one of the most heated and important of the regular season. On November 2nd a game that has been long awaited since the 2014 schedule was announced finally arrives when Tom Brady will face off against Peyton Manning as the Denver Broncos battle the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium. This is a classic match up between two of the greatest quarterbacks of all time and is also a rematch of last season's AFC Championship Game. There is no doubt that the Pats will be looking to get some revenge against the Broncos who prevented them from getting to the Super Bowl. The last two home games are also big division games with the first one taking place on December 14th against the Miami Dolphins, followed by a December 28th battle against the Buffalo Bills. The Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, and Cincinnati Bengals all also have big games at Gillette Stadium against the Patriots this season, so pick out the games you would like to attend and get your tickets here on StubHub to show the Patriots your support.

The Team

The Patriots may have recovered after losing in the AFC Championship at Denver but they have not forgotten and are determined not to let something like that happen again. The loss provided the team with extra incentive coming into the offseason and every player is will not be denied in their quest to make it even further this year. Tom Brady will once again have two of his favorite targets in wide receivers Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman, and if superstar tight end Rob Gronkowski can stay healthy and make a return to his All-Pro from the Pats offense could be impossible to slow down. There are countless reasons to get excited about the 2014 New England Patriots season and you will want to be there right from the start cheering New England on at Gillette Stadium.

The Experience

If you are expecting to see an amazing sporting event, look no further as there is nothing that matches the thrill of being there for an exciting NFL match up loaded with heart-pounding intensity. Whether it is a spectacular catch, a highlight-ready run, or an eye-popping throw, the NFL has you covered if you are looking for top-tier football action that you'll be talking about well after it's over. There has never been a better time to head out to the stands so you can actually feel the intensity of the crowd in a way that you never can from your living room. Tickets to see the Pats play at their home venue of Gillette Stadium are always hot sellers for a reason, as the Pats are always one of the best teams in the AFC and often host some of the toughest opponents that the conference has to offer. Home games featuring the Pats are always great, though there is something great about being on the road as well, as there is nothing quite like watching your favorite team as they hope to silence the home crowd to the joy of the true fans that made the trip. Don't miss out on any of the New England Patriots action this season.

New England Patriots AFC East

The New England Patriots play in the AFC East, which has traditionally been among the toughest divisions in the entire NFL. The Patriots enter the season as the defending champions and are annually a popular preseason pick to make it to the Super Bowl behind quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick. The Miami Dolphins barely missed out on a wildcard playoff berth in 2013 and have added running back Knowshon Moreno to their roster as well as bringing in some key draft picks that should make them even more dangerous this season. The New York Jet also fell just short of the playoffs last season and have added several key pieces including quarterback Michael Vick who will back up Geno Smith and possibly be used in special situations. The Buffalo Bills have C.J. Spiller in their backfield, a running back who can break a big play at any moment and have also added superstar Mario Williams to their defense in hopes of moving up the AFC East standings.

Trivia

It may seem hard to believe but the Patriots did not win their first Super Bowl in 2002. The franchise then went on to win back-to-back championships in 2004 and 2005 and has made it back to the Super Bow twice since, in 2008 and 2012 when they lost to the New York Giants both times.
