The first AFL tickets to see the VooDoo play arena football were sold in the 2004 season. The VooDoo won a division title that year, but success has eluded them ever since. Hard times have hit New Orleans due to Hurricane Katrina, and athletic operations were suspended for the 2006 season of play. The team will be back though, and in the next few years they hope to bring an Arena Bowl Championship trophy to New Orleans.
