New York Yankees playoff tickets are sure to return to relevance this season as the Yankees are looking to avenge missing the postseason last year. Usually playoff regulars, the Yankees were unable to win the A.L. East, something they club is looking to rectify in 2009. With one of the best rosters in the league, the Yanks should again be one of the most feared teams in baseball.
By far the most storied postseason team in baseball history, the Yankees have won over two dozen World Series titles, and enough Pennants to clothe New York's homeless population. MLB tickets to see the Yankees, it seems, will perpetually be a part of the sports ticket market. The team missed the playoffs in 2008, but the Bronx Bombers are sure to return this season.
After an incredible run of consecutive playoffs appearances for more than a decade, the Yankees couldn’t get through all the injuries they experienced in 2008, missing the playoffs. 2009 should be a different story, though, as the Yanks have reloaded in the offseason and look poised for a serious run. This team could very well win its 27th World Series title this season!
