The National Football League is the king of sporting leagues in the United States of America. Everyone seems to love football, and fans flock to stadiums all over the country to see the best teams in the NFL go head-to-head in games that feature some of the top athletes in the entire world. There are some fantastic matchups yet again this season in the NFL, and you can be there to catch all the action live and in person.

The 2013 NFL regular season is jam-packed with incredible matchups that any football fan would want to see play out from their very own seat in the stadium. There are some very good teams that are looking to take the next step this season, and their games always make for exciting contests. Rivalry games can be found all over the schedule, when two divisional foes hit the gridiron to try to take home a huge victory that comes with a side of pride. These are some of the most well-attended games of the season because the fans love to see their favorite teams down their most hated opponents.

Once playoff time rolls around after the regular season, fans are treated to see only the best teams in each conference try to run the gauntlet all the way to the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl is more than just a game, and might as well be considered a national holiday in the United States at this point. This season's Super Bowl will be played on February 2nd at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. This is a special Super Bowl because it's the first outdoor Super Bowl to be played at an outdoor stadium in a cold weather location in a very long time. Fans that are lucky enough to attend the Super Bowl are treated to an experience that they never forget. It's the biggest stage and the biggest sport all wrapped into one huge game, and you can be there for a spectacle you'll always remember.

The National Football League dates back to the year 1920, when it was first founded. The league matured and grew as the years went by, but really took itself to the next level when it merged with the competing American Football League in 1970. The league then split into two conferences that remain to this day, the American Football Conference and the National Football Conference. The NFL has continued to add teams over the years and now boast 32 franchise in cities all over the United States of America. The National Football League is looking to expand its business to a global scale, already putting on games in Canada and England. There is serious talk about starting a team in London, though the logistics of such a venture remain a hurdle. The NFL is the most popular sports league in the United States and its championship game, The Super Bowl, is one of the most watched games in the world.

Life as a Fan

People from all over the world love the National Football League, and there is even talk of the NFL going global. There are already multiple games played in London, England each and every season, and many people thinks it's only a matter of time before the league has teams based in Europe. The NFL is taking over for a reason, because it's simply riveting to see a game in person when these amazing athletes hit the field to do battle on the gridiron.

Introducing New Fans

If you've never been to a huge NFL game loaded with intensity and anticipation, then you obviously have no idea what you've been missing, as the NFL brings together some of the most explosive athletes in the world on a regular basis. The NFL has become renowned for its brand of exciting football that you can't find anywhere else in the world. With quarterbacks that can put the ball anywhere on the field, running backs that can make a move to avoid a defender and be on a breakaway for the end zone in no time, receivers that routinely make highlight reel catches and defensive players that put some of the hardest hits on opponents game in and game out, the NFL is simply the cream of the crop when it comes to a sports-watching experience.
