The Nikon at Jones Beach Theater is an outdoor amphitheater located in Wantagh,
NY, situated just east of New York City on Long Island. The Nikon at Jones Beach Theater first opened in 1952 as the Jones
Beach Marine Amphitheater, though it was renamed in 1994 as the Jones Beach Amphitheater, then changed to the Jones Beach
Theater in 2002. From 2002 to 2006, it was known as the Tommy Hilfiger at Jones Beach Theater before finally changing the
name of the venue to the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater. No matter the name, however, this is a venue that has gained a reputation
for bringing together some of the top acts around the musical world, providing all kinds of incentive to keep an eye on the
calendar of events.
Bands like The Beach Boys, Aerosmith, the Goo Goo Dolls, Jack Johnson and more have played at Nikon
