Though the North Carolina
Tar Heels finished the season with a 7-6 record, there were many incredible highlights from the 2013 season. The Tar Heels
played an extremely close game against the Duke Blue Devils, who had an exceptional season for a school known for its basketball
program. Though the Tar Heels lost 27-25 to their hated rival, they took the momentum from that game into the Belk Bowl in
Charlotte, where they defeated the Cincinnati Bearcats in dominating fashion, 39-17. In 2014, the Tar Heels will be ready
to build off of the momentum of the bowl game victory and into battle in the ACC, when they take on foes like Virginia Tech,
Pittsburgh, Miami and even a trip to South Bend to take on the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.
