The North Mississippi Allstars, founded in 1996, were a product of a special time for modern Mississippi country blues. The band consists of brothers Luther (guitar and vocals) and Cody (drums and vocals) who joined up with bassist, Chris Chew. Electric Blue Watermelon, their newest release and third Grammy-nominated album, reflects the band's old times and Northern Mississippi memories. The band tours with John Hiatt and have released new album, Master of Disaster .
