In late 2009, the band was chosen as one of Beyond Race Magazine's "50 Emerging Artists," and in February 2010, they were signed to Epitaph Records, and they haven't looked back since. The band is unique in that they make use of a rotating line-up of tour players, due to their members' other commitments. Lead singer/guitarist Ryan Young feels that having different musicians helps keep the band fresh, and the strategy has proven successful, as fans keep flocking back to hear who will be performing their live music next. After years of touring, the band has found a stable line-up, though two of the members continue to front their own part-time bands. Member Zack Gontard sings and plays guitar in Dear Landlord, while Justin Francis sings and plays guitar in Apocalypse Meow.
