2014 Ohio State Buckeyes Football Road Schedule

Anyone that pays any attention to college football knows that the Ohio State Buckeyes football program is synonymous with winning, as they have become a revolving door of title contenders and superstars destined to star on the next level as well. The Buckeyes are routinely one of the best teams in the country and always seem to be in the national title conversation, which makes it always a good time to be an Ohio State Buckeyes fan. In 2013, the Buckeyes went undefeated in the Big 10 (again) and were once again right on the cusp of being eligible for the title matchup, which gives fans plenty of optimism heading into 2014.

You can definitely bet that Ohio Stadium is going to be rocking whenever the Buckeyes are in town, but the fanfare certainly doesn't die down when they're not, as this is one of the very best fan bases in the country. As the Buckeyes go up against teams like Maryland, Penn State, Michigan State and Minnesota, there are all kinds of challenges ahead for Ohio State this season, though this is a program that thrives on the intensity of the competition. Put it all together and the Buckeyes are sure to give you plenty to cheer about this season as they look to pile up the big road wins and once again establish themselves as the team to beat in the Big 10.

Ohio State Buckeyes Football Team Info

The Ohio State Buckeyes have earned numerous accolades over the years, including multiple national titles and a steady stream of players that they graduate to pro level of the National Football League. To say that they've become one of the prominent programs in the nation is a bit of an understatement, as they have an amazing national reputation and have been as consistently dominant as team can boast. Crazy enough, an 8-0 conference record and 12-2 overall record was actually a down year for the Buckeyes, which speaks to the standards that this program has from one year to the next. As the Buckeyes look to get back to the top of the conference, it certainly doesn't get any better than this.

NCAA Football Experience

When it comes to seeing a great sporting event loaded with unbelievable action, college football has you covered each and every season. The NFL always brings fans some great football, but there's something extra special about watching amateur athletes as they hit the gridiron in a prominent matchup that has the attention of the entire nation. Though the experience during home games is obviously something that fans need to be a part of from time to time, the fun definitely doesn't end there either, as it's something special to listen to the silence of the home crowd as the Buckeyes put an exclamation point on a huge road win.

Ohio State Buckeyes Football History

The accolades for this program have simply accumulated to ridiculous levels since it was first founded in 1890, building the program into one of the gold standards in the nation. Overall, the Buckeyes have claimed seven different national tiles, including one as recently as 2002, and always seem to be either right in the middle of the title talk or right on the edge of it. With 78 All-Americans and counting, the Buckeyes have also had some of the biggest stars in the country from one season to the next, leading to a steady stream of great players heading on to play in the NFL as well. All in all, the Buckeyes are simply an iconic part of college football and a team that is never lacking in fanfare.
