The Old 97s came together in 1993, immediately making a splash in the Dallas music scene. In 1994, they released their debut album Hitch Hike to Rhome, and received critical acclaim and a growing fan base. The Old 97's continued to make music throughout the '90s and 2000s, and are back on stage again.
