About One More Time
One More Time is the premium Daft Punk tribute
band around today. Daft Punk, the legendary duo that continues to define the electronic music scene, has been at the forefront
of electronica since their inception in 1993. The brainchild of super French DJs Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter,
Daft Punk would cut their teeth in the early 90s French music scene before becoming possibly the most famous DJs in the world.
Their earliest notable work was Homework, a foundational piece of Daft Punk's discography that dropped in 1997. Homework would
receive much critical acclaim and be the band's major introduction to the world stage. Homework pushed the envelop of electronic
music, putting a certain soul and dynamism into the genre that would change its direction forever.
The duo would release
three more ground shattering original albums, starting with Discovery in 2001. Discovery would turn Daft Punk from just another
house band and into a musical force and genre unto themselves. Alongside the animated epic Interstella 5555, Daft Punk's full
length movie set to Discovery's soundtrack, Discovery received massive critical acclaim and perfect ratings from multiple
music reviewers. Discovery's new and innovative sound would open up new genres for the electronic genre that had yet been
unexplored and underrepresented.
The band's 2005 follow up would have sky high expectations, but would be met with mixed
praise and criticism. Though the album contained some of Daft Punk's most genre pushing material to date, some thought the
album had lost its house foundations and that the Human After All apple had fallen too far from the Daft Punk tree. In time,
however, Human After All has become a solid entrant into any electronic playlist.
Finally, 2013 would be one of the
greatest years in music as Daft Punk released their vaunted mega hit album Random Access Memories. RAM would be a huge success,
both commercially and critically. It would win a plethora of Grammy awards, perfects across the board from multiple critics,
and debut at the number one spot in more than twenty countries. Daft Punk's direction with Random Access Memories was a surprise
for fans and critics alike, as the band looked to the past for inspiration for their newest album. Instead of the roborock
album of the future, Daft Punk released the definitive electro dance rock album of the past.
More Time will let you relive all of Daft Punk's greatest hits live and remixed in true Daft Punk fashion. Get ready for blasts
from the past as One More Time throws "Da Funk" or "Around the World" onto the turntable. Get floored again with all your
mid era favorites including "Digital Love", "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger", and of course "One More Time". You'll have
your mind blown by the unfiltered musical energy of "Robot Rock", "Technologic", and "Human After All" as it's mixed with
all the hits from their latest masterpiece RAM, including "Get Lucky", "Contact", "Lose Yourself to Dance", and "Doin' It
Daft Punk ventured into a different medium around 2010, trying their hand at a movie soundtrack.
Daft Punk composed and recorded the entire soundtrack for Daft Punk: Legacy and even made a cameo in the film as themselves.
Punk have also recorded live albums and remix albums, with their Alive 2007 album being one of the greatest musical masterpieces
of all time.
The One More Time Concert Experience
Replete with all the Daft Punk hallmarks, from a pyramid
to perform in and the full robot regalia, One More Time is the next best thing you can experience in electronic music besides
seeing Daft Punk themselves. With Daft Punk having been largely absent from the tour scene for most of the last five years,
One More Time took it upon themselves to build upon the legendary shows put on by Daft Punk during their 2007 Alive tour.
Considered one of the most exciting performances of all time, One More Time has modeled their concert experience after that
of Daft Punks so that those unfortunate enough to miss the original can still get a taste of the epic Daft Punk experience.
