One OK Rock Tickets - One OK Rock Tour

One OK Rock Tour

Over the past few years there has been little innovation in the world of music, as artists choose to take the easy path and simply do what everyone else is doing instead of trying something new and to bring a new sound to the music scene. Luckily for the world of music, bands like One OK Rock are here to keep things interesting. A japanese alternative rock band that also flexes its muscles in the field of pop punk, there's definitely no one else out there that's like One OK Rock, making them a must-see whenever they happen to take to the stage in an area near you. They have played all over the world and will soon be putting on a string of shows in the United States that range from California to New York during February 2014. So if you're lucky enough to be in either Los Angeles or New York, then you owe it to yourself to check out One OK Rock when they perform live at the Club Nokia and Best Buy Theater on February 7 and 8, 2014, respectively. These guys are well known for putting on a live show that you won't soon forget, so make things easy on yourself by getting your tickets from StubHub while they're still available! There's no telling how much longer tickets will be available for, so make sure that you get your tickets sooner rather than later.

About The Band

Formed in 2005 when then-high school student Toru Yamashita decided that it was high time to start a band, subsequently going out and rounding up the troops that would make up One OK Rock. Recruiting members Ryoto Kohama from a hip hop dance group, subsequently having him learn bass, and then getting Taka Moriuchi after seeing him perform in a cover band, things were really starting to shape up. While Tomoya Kanki, the drummer of the group, was actually the last to join, he had actually been playing with One OK Rock since 2006, but didn't officially join the lineup until 2007. The group was set, and quickly began to create, record, and release their self-titled debut EP in 2006, with another by the name of "Keep It Real" being released the same year. One OK Rock began to pick up steam and released their first debut album, "Zeitakubyo", in late 2007, followed the next year by the two albums "Beam of Light" and "Kanjo Effect". They continued on with the releases "Niche Syndrome" and "Zankyo Reference", with their most recent release being 2013's "Jinsei x Boku".

Breakthrough Album

A band as unique and stylish as One OK Rock definitely didn't have trouble gaining attention with their music, as from the very beginning they were already a band to watch on the music scene. While their debut self-titled EP gained them notoriety as a band to keep an eye on, their later releases have seen a continual rise in popularity from one to the next. So while they tend to gain even more praise and fans with each passing release, their breakthrough album would have to be their debut album "Zeitakubyo", which made it onto the charts and had a track listing that would make any band famous.

One OK Rock Trivia

Many people have wondered on the origins of how and why the group came about naming themselves One OK Rock, but more often than not these mysteries tend to be more practical than they initially seem. One OK Rock is actually pronounced like "One o'clock", but the group noticed that the Japanese language tends to not make any particular distinction between L's and R's, with it actually sounding closer to "o'crock", they decided to make the name "One OK Rock". The history behind why they wanted to name their band this is because one o'clock is the time that they would all come together to practice each weekend. So while names sometimes seem to be named for random or arbitrary reasons, more often than not there's an interesting fact behind it.

Fan Experience

People have been coming from all over to bare witness to the musical majesty that One OK Rock is prone to exuding, and they continue to turn skeptics into fans with each passing performance. They have been bringing life back to alternative rock and pop punk for years with their unique style and signature sound that other artists wish they could imitate, but simply can't. So when you find yourself in the audience at one of One OK Rock's upcoming shows, you'll undoubtedly by overwhelmed by the awesome music that they bring to the forefront of every single one of their shows. And with a lineup of stellar tracks that make up their incredible discography, there's definitely not going to be a shortage in good music. So do yourself a favor and make sure that you get your tickets from StubHub today, as there's really no telling when these shows will sell out! StubHub can get you to amazing live performances just like this no matter where you are in the country, so don't forget to check back often to see what new and exciting things will be happening in your area!
