Though we know the Ducks can really bring it on the gridiron, don't
make the mistake of thinking that they can't do some very big things on the hardwood from one season to the next. The Ducks
really know their way around the basketball court, as they've become stalwarts in the Pac-12, a conference that is routinely
considered one of the very best of the best in college basketball. In 2013-2014, the Oregon Ducks ended up with a 24-10 overall
record on the season and went 10-8 in the conference, which is a great overall season considering the level of competition
that the Ducks faced on a regular basis.
With a great fan base and some serious talent taking the court on a nightly
basis, you can bet that Matthew Knight Arena is sure to be absolutely rocking throughout the year as the Ducks look to defend
their home court in a very big way throughout the season. Against teams like UCLA, Oregon State, Arizona, Colorado, USC, Stanford
and more, the Ducks have some incredible matchups lined up for them once again this season, providing more than enough incentive
to head out and join in the heart-pounding excitement. Don't forget about the road games either, as the Ducks have an amazing
fan base that always seems to show up wherever the Ducks do. Put it all together and the Ducks are sure to give their fans
some amazing thrills this season on their quest to shoot their way to the top of the Pac-12.
Oregon Ducks Basketball
The Oregon Ducks have seen some great players come through their basketball program over the years, which
is no surprise when one considers the reputation of this program as a whole and the conference they play. One of the best
players to every play for the Ducks was Terrell Brandon, a point guard that put together some great seasons for Oregon. Brandon
would go on to play in the NBA, where he established himself as one of the better point guards of his time. Other top Oregon
players to move on to the pro game include Luke Ridnour, Aaron Brooks and Fred Jones, and you never know when the next great
player is going to elevate his game and lead the Ducks' program to new heights.
The NCAA Basketball Experience
another talented squad loaded with playmakers who can change the dynamic of a big game in a real hurry, the Ducks definitely
won't go quietly in the Pac-12, which means that you're in store for some epic games against some of the very best programs
in the country coming down the home stretch. We know you can catch the big game at home or maybe even the bar down the street,
but the experience of actually being there when the game is still up for grabs is something that you're just not going to
be able to conjure up anywhere else. This is as good as college sporting events get, and you'll understand that loud and clear
whenever the Oregon Ducks take to the court for a highly anticipated matchup.
