2014 Oregon Ducks Football Road Schedule

The Oregon Ducks football team is routinely one of the best programs in all of the NCAA ranks, as they've put together a reputation of excellence that is nearly unmatched around the entire country. In 2013, the Ducks put together the best overall record out of any team in the PAC-12, boasting a 7-2 conference record to go along with an 11-2 in total as the Ducks once again were one of the very best teams the sport. With the Ducks adding some important new players to the puzzle, the Ducks and their fans are optimistic they can do even better this season as they look to once again pile up the wins in one of the toughest conference in the game. At home, you can definitely bet that Autzen Stadium will be absolutely loaded with great fans that come out to show their support, but it's definitely not just about the home games. On the road is the best way to see just how strong the Ducks' fan base truly is, as this is a team that has fans that always know how to travel with the team to provide some support away from home. Away against teams like Washington State, Utah, Cal, UCLA and Oregon State, the Ducks will have some serious challenges on the road this season, but that's just part of the fun playing in an elite conference like the PAC-12. With the Ducks taking aim at the top of the conference once again this season, it simply doesn't get any better than this.

But no matter how incredible Autzen Stadium is, every fan needs to see the Ducks on the road sooner or later, as there is nothing like being there when the Ducks put together a huge drive that silences the home crowd.

Oregon Ducks Football Trivia

Did you know that Dan Fouts threw for more than 4,700 yards in back-to-back seasons in the NFL for the San Diego Chargers? Oregon fans knew that they were watching something special when Fouts was a Duck, though he took his game to a completely different level when he was drafted by the San Diego Chargers. In a league that was not the passing league that it is today, Fouts threw for 4,082 yards in 1979 and then elevated his game even more in 1981, throwing for 4,715 yards that year and dicing up defenses to the tune of 4,802 in 1982.
