Oregon Ducks Football Schedule
If you are looking to see some of the best college football in the country there
is arguably no better place to be than Eugene, Oregon, home of the Oregon Ducks, one of the most successful programs in the
sport in recent years. Year after the year the Ducks have found themselves at the top of the always tough PAC 12 where they
are battling against programs like Stanford, USC, UCLA, Arizona State, and others. Last season the Ducks finished tied with
Stanford in the PAC 12 North and you can be sure that they are doing everything they can in the offseason to end up back at
the top by themselves. One of the most notable change to the Ducks seen in spring ball was at offensive line, where the unit
beefed up since the end of the 2013 season in an effort to avoid being pushed around by some of the bigger defensive lines
they face in conference play. The group will be led by star center Hroniss Grasu who was instrumental in motivating the rest
of the line to hit the weight room hard in the offseason. The defense will be led by their stellar linebacking unit which
impressed in spring ball and returns several key players some of whom were among the team's leaders in tackles last season.
The Ducks will once again hope to be buoyed by their die hard fans who give them a significant home field advantage against
any team that dares enter Autzen Stadium.
Home games in Eugene are always exciting, but the out of conference match
up against the Michigan State Spartans on September 6th will definitely be one of the top games in all of college football
this year. Michigan State enter the season as the defending Big Ten champs and this could be a game that ends up determining
who will take part in the first championship playoffs come season's end. On October 2nd the Arizona Wildcats come to Autzen
Stadium. Last year the Ducks' offensive line felt that they were pushed around by the Wildcats' defensive line and they will
be looking to exact some revenge after hitting the weight room hard in the offseason. One of the biggest games of the PAC
12 regular season will be held at Autzen Stadium on November 1st when it will be the Oregon Ducks against the Stanford Cardinal
in a game that could decide the PAC 12 North champion. Other home games include match ups against South Dakota, Wyoming, Washington,
and Colorado. Take a look at the schedule and pick out which games you want to attend and get tickets right here on StubHub.
The Ducks have shown no setback after the departure of former head coach Chip Kelly two years ago and
Mark Helfrich did a more than admirable job in his first season last year. The Ducks are never satisfied with a tie for first
place finish in their division and you can rest assured that every returning player has been working hard this offseason with
one goal in mind, a PAC 12 championship and a shot at the national title. The Ducks will be young at the receiver position
but should not be as reliant on the pass as they have been in past years as they have two excellent running backs in Byron
Marshall and Thomas Tyner. Be a part of the exciting 2014 Oregon Ducks season and help the Ducks get back to the top of the
Oregon Ducks football games have long been some of the most exciting in the sport
and game days in Eugene are not to be missed. Cheering for your alma mater or favorite school and watching the student athletes
lay it all on the line for school pride and a shot at playing at the next level is one of the most intense feelings in all
of sports. College football fans plan their entire Saturday to celebrate everything that comes with the game. These hard core
fans get up early and head off to the stadium parking lot for tailgating before the game. Once inside the stadium, fans join
together to make as much noise as possible and help the home team leave with a victory. It is incredibly thrilling to be in
the crowd when the star player takes the ball into the end zone for a big win. When you head out for an Oregon Ducks football
game you are sure to experience all of the excitement that comes with a top tier college football game. The parking lot at
Autzen Stadium will be filled with people gearing up for the big game, grilling up some grub and sipping on a few beverages
as well. It's all one big lead up to the main event, which is the game itself. There is simply no better way to spend a day
off than at a college football game cheering and celebrating with thousands of other hard core fans.
PAC 12 Football
The Ducks play in the PAC 12 conference which is annually one of the top conferences in all of football.
One of the things that makes the PAC 12 so special is that each of the schools who were members of the PAC 10 have in-state
rivals with whom they engage in bitter battles each season. Teams like UCLA, Oregon, Stanford, and USC are the traditional
powerhouses in the conference but all of the other schools in the conference are capable of pulling off big upsets and seemingly
coming from out of nowhere to win their division as Arizona State did in 2013 when they emerged as the champions of the PAC
12 South. If you are looking to see some of the best college football games of the year featuring athletes competing at the
highest level you have come to the right place in the PAC 12.
Oregon Ducks football dates all the
way back to 1894 and they have won 11 conference titles over the years. Although the Ducks have produced 6 consensus All-Americans
and several players who have gone on to play and coach in the NFL, to date no Ducks have won a Heisman Trophy.
