Oregon State Beavers Basketball Road Games

Oregon State Beavers Basketball Road Game tickets

Oregon State Beavers Basketball Road Schedule in 2014-15

The Oregon State Beavers are ready to take to hit the floor this season in search of as many wins as they can get their paws on. The Beavers have a team riddled with talent that is about to be unleashed on the rest of the college basketball world. Oregon State is a part of the Pac-12 Conference, one of the top basketball leagues in college hoops. The Pac-12 features some of the toughest teams in the country on an annual basis, which makes for a tough road for the Beavers each and every season. The Beavers are coming off a 2013-14 season in which they were able to post a 16-16 overall record, but they won just eight of their 18 Pac-12 matchups along the way. The Beavers are looking to improve their performance against conferences rivals on the road this season, and they'll have the chance to show that they're a team on the rise in 2014-15.

The Beavers will hit the court to take on the Arizona Wildcats this season in what should be one of the more challenging games of the season for Oregon State. Oregon State knows that this is going to be a tough game, as the Wildcats finished atop the conference standings last season. While Arizona lost some players to graduation and the National Basketball Association in the offseason, they should again be a formidable foe for the Beavers. The Beavers need their fans to make the trip to the desert this season to support them, and if that happens they could be leaving with a huge conference win.

The Beavers will also travel to take on the Oregon Ducks in what is always one of the most thrilling contests of the season. The Ducks and Beavers have a fantastic rivalry that has made for some riveting basketball in the past, so the stands are sure to be packed to the brim for this year's matchup as well.

Oregon State Beavers Basketball History

Oregon State University, located in Corvallis, Oregon, is a public university that enrolls around 20,000 students. The Beavers athletic teams play in the Pac-12 Conference, one of the toughest sports conferences in the nation. One of their most hated rivals is the Oregon Ducks who are located an hour away in Eugene, and that road matchup is one of the best of the season each and every year. The Oregon State Beavers basketball program has been around since 1902. The first head coach of the team was JB Patterson, who coached the team for just three games. The program has had many good coaches since then, but none has experienced more success with the Beavers than Slats Gill. Gill won nearly 600 games as the head coach of Oregon State, notching a winning percentage over.600 in the process. The Beavers have been to the NCAA Tournament many times, and they've even reached the Final Four twice. The team is looking to add to their impressive historical resume with a banner season this time around.

Fan Experience

It really does not get much better for a basketball fan than hitting the stands for a big college hoops game. These are some of the best players in the nation, and seeing them live and in person from your very own seat in the arena give you an extra appreciation for the abilities of these amateur athletes. The Oregon State Beavers are always faced with taking on some of the better teams in the nation, and that will be no different this time around. The Beavers will take to the road this season to play at some of the best college basketball venues in the nation, and you'd be wise to join them for at least one game to see all that comes with being there for a road game. Make sure you're there in person to cheer on the Beavers when they earn a huge victory away from home this season.

The Beavers play tons of thrilling games on the road against Pac-12 competitors, and especially games against the Oregon Ducks bring fans of both teams to the arena. Come cheer the Beavers on the road when you get tickets to upcoming basketball games and you'll see why so many fans attend games in person, even away from home.
