Oregon State Beavers Basketball History

Since 1949, Gill Coliseum has been home to the Oregon State Beavers basketball team and one of the main attractions on campus in Corvallis, Oregon. When it is game time at Gill Coliseum, the students show up in hordes sporting their orange and black and more than ready to cheer their beloved Beavers on to yet another big win. The Beavers have participated in several NCAA Tournaments, and have made it to the later rounds many times while they've developed one of the strongest programs in the nation. Against teams like Cal, Arizona State, Stanford and many more in the ultra-competitive PAC-12, the Beavers get to go up against some of the toughest teams in college hoops, though the Beavers also have plenty of talented players that know how to wreak havoc on their opponents from game to game and season to season. Over the years, more than two dozen different Beavers have gone on to star in the NBA after dominating in Corvallis, including guys like Brent Barry, Rick Berry, Gary Payton, A.C. Green and many more. The Beavers will be looking to find the next great player to lead them to the Final Four.
