one of those sports that you have to see first-hand if you want to really understand what all the excitement is about, as
it's a game that gets taken to a completely different level when the matchup is still on the line and the Beavers are bringing
the ball up the court in a nail-biter.

these days, but few can even hold a candle to the experiment of big-time NCAA basketball. Come out to the stands and you'll
see what all the buzz is about, as you'll be treated to an unbelievable sporting event filled with thousands of intense fans
that know a thing or two about showing their support. The Beavers are known for having one of the most passionate fan base
you'll find anywhere in the Pac-12, which is saying something considering the other top-tier programs that the Beavers go
up against on a regular basis.
Against teams like Cal, Arizona State, Stanford and many more
in the ultra-competitive PAC-12, the Beavers get to go up against some of the toughest teams in college hoops, though the
Beavers also have plenty of talented players that know how to wreak havoc on their opponents from game to game and season
to season. Over the years, more than two dozen different Beavers have gone on to star in the NBA after dominating in Corvallis,
including guys like Brent Barry, Rick Berry, Gary Payton, A.C. Green and many more, and you never know when the next great
player is going to burst onto the scene with a banner day that has everyone buzzing around town.
Did you know that the Beavers made it to the Elite Eight on six different occasions?
in 1949 and most recently in the early 1980s, the Beavers have made some memorable runs to the Elite Eight, and they even
took it to the next level to the Final Four in both 1949 and 1963. Though the Beavers have yet to put it all together and
make a run at the title, they tend to have a roster filled with playmakers that helps make it seem like only a matter of time
before they put it all together and cut down the nets.
