Many people know about the Indianapolis 500, the hallmark of the Indy racing world, and one of the hardest tickets to obtain. However, there is a whole world of Indy car racing coming to venues across America, starting in late March, and ending in September. IRL races are some of the most enjoyable sporting events to go to, especially considering the tailgating culture that surrounds most race tracks.
Motorsports tickets to IRL races have been around since the first race in 1994. The IRL was formed by a break off of CART open-wheel racing series drivers who didn't like the Formula-1 league. Sam Hornish Jr. has won the IRL series in '01, '02, and '06, but by far the biggest name to come from the IRL lately has been Danica Patrick, the 2005 and 2006 Most Popular Driver award winner.
