Antonio, Pat Green is a Texas boy through and through. He was raised in Waco, Texas and attended Texas Tech University when
he graduated high school. Although he always loved music, he didn't truly pursue a career in music until he was 18 years old
at Texas Tech. He started to play intimate gigs at local bars and clubs, eventually realizing that he needed to independently
record some tracks so that he could start getting his name out on the music scene. Finally, in 1997, Green fully committed
himself to pursuing music, and quickly gained the attention of Willie Nelson, who invited him on tour with him and numerous
other country artists.
Touring with Willie Nelson gave Pat Green the big break that he needed, playing to sold out crowds
all throughout Texas. Even though he didn't have a record contract at the time, Green started selling out shows and gaining
sponsorship by Miller Lite. In 2001, Pat Green recorded his first major label album titled Three Days, and he spent years
performing his fun and lively music to young audiences in college towns all over the country. Eventually, his name became
one of the biggest names in country, and he accompanied artists like Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, and Gretchen Wilson on tour.
