Patrick Stump may not be the most famous member of the band that brought him into the spotlight, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't be better known. Patrick Stump is the lead singer of the hit band Fall Out Boy, but he has also begun to schedule solo dates to showcase his work outside of Fall Out Boy, like at Joe's Pub in New York City.
Patrick Stump kind of fell into the position of frontman of Fall Out Boy. He wasn't the most outspoken member of the band - that honor went to Pete Wentz. Instead, Patrick Stump dodged the celebrity the band brought and instead focused on his songwriting and performing. His shy demeanor, though, melted away whenever he appeared at the band's live shows.
Instead of simply enjoyed the success of Fall out Boy, Patrick Stump continued to hone his music skills. Along with writing songs, Patrick Stump also began producing and remixing, leading to his work on other band's albums, like Cobra Starship and Gym Glass Heroes. Patrick Stump also broke out as a solo artist, releasing his debut solo album in 2011.
