Though Patton Oswalt has built his entire career around his use of humor, that doesn't mean he's never taken the time to sit down and pen out his thoughts! Typically he's used to writing jokes and content related to his popular television shows, but he took the time in 2003 to release his first contribution to writing when JLA: Welcome to the Working Week was released on DC Comics. 2006 brought his release of The Overrated Book, with 2007 and 2008 leading to the release of The Goon Noir and The Rock Bible: Unholy Scripture for Fans and Bands, respectively. Patton Oswalt tried his hand at another release with 2010's Serenity: Float Out, but it wasn't until his 2011 release of his autobiography Zombie Spaceship Wasteland that put his name on the map in regards to his writing.
