Paul McCartney tickets - Paul McCartney Tour

Paul McCartney 2014 Tour Schedule

Anyone who loves the Beatles (and who doesn't?) will love seeing Paul McCartney get up and perform his solo hits in concert. As someone who virtually reinvented the music scene during his time with the Beatles, Paul McCartney is a legend all by himself. And while McCartney and his fellow Beatles members rose to international fame during the 1960s, McCartney is still a relevant and incredible performer to this day. Whether you were an avid Beatles fan back in their heyday or have come to know and love McCartney's solo work, you definitely don't want to miss seeing this rock icon as he performs at a venue near you!

Starting this June, McCartney is headed out on the road to bring his acclaimed songs to audiences across the U.S., playing in cities like Dallas, New Orleans, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Nashville, Louisville, Albany, Pittsburgh, and Salt Lake City. Don't let this incredible opportunity to see one of the faces of the Beatles perform live and grab your tickets on StubHub today! Act quickly, though, as McCartney has been used to selling out crowds since the '60s!

Paul McCartney Background

When McCartney joined forces with John Lennon, George Harris, and Ringo Starr to form a band, they had no idea that they would become one of the most influential rock groups in history. McCartney and Lennon formed a songwriting partnership that earned the Beatles unprecedented critical acclaim and millions of dedicated fans around the world.

McCartney grew up in Liverpool, England, and had a passion for music at an early age. When he was just fifteen years old, he met John Lennon and his band, the Quarrymen. McCartney was invited to join the band, and he and Lennon started to form a close-knit bond centered on their love of music. In 1958, McCartney's long time friend George Harrison joined the group and they decided to name themselves the Beatles. With the addition of Ringo Starr, the quartet was complete, and the band soon dominated the music scene in both England and America. The Beatles' lasting impact on rock and roll is unmistakable, and even though they broke up in 1970 to the dismay of fans everywhere, McCartney wasn't even close to ready to giving up his music career.

McCartney was the first member of the Beatles to launch his solo career, and following the great success of his self-titled debut solo album, McCartney formed his own band, Wings. With Wings, McCartney won two Grammy Awards and cranked out hit after hit. The '80s were a difficult decade for McCartney, especially when his longtime friend, John Lennon, was assassinated in cold blood. After taking time to grieve and rediscover his love for music, McCartney started to get back out into the music scene. McCartney experienced international stardom and massive success with the Beatles, but he has also become one of the most successful solo artists of all time. He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and has also sold over 15.5 million albums in the U.S. alone. This music legend just can't stop cranking out hits, and he is about to head out on another U.S. tour to bring his smash hits to a stage near you. Make sure you are in the audience when the legendary Paul McCartney steps on stage and grab your tickets from StubHub today!

Greatest Hits

As a solo artist, McCartney has cranked out 77 singles, including "Another Day", "Too Many People", "Little Woman Love", "I Lie Around", "Jet", "Band on the Run", "Listen to What the Man Said", "Silly Love Songs", "Let 'Em In", "Girls' School", and countless others. He has become one of the most popular solo artists of all time, and has also earned the reputation as one of the greatest songwriters of all time due to both his career with the Beatles and as a solo artist.

Trivia

Paul McCartney was rejected twice after auditioning to be a choirboy. Although he is now one of the world's most popular singers, he failed his choirboy auditions twice—on purpose! He deliberately flunked at his auditions because he did not want to be a choirboy in church.

The Experience

Seeing such an iconic and world-renowned artist like Paul McCartney perform live is a rare opportunity. With his prolific career, dozens of smash hit singles, and classic voice, McCartney is one artist that you should definitely see in concert. So mark your calendar and get ready to see one of the most iconic music legends of the past century and grab your Paul McCartney tickets from StubHub today!
