If you were in the U.K. during the ‘80s, you’d know the music listening public couldn’t get enough a
mod-revival band with a punky attitude called The Jam. Front and center was Paul Weller, a talented guitarist and songwriter
who brought poetry to the rockin’ pop music he made. Now, Paul Weller tickets are
available for this eclectic artist’s solo tour.
As massive a splash as he made in the ‘80s, Weller’s post-Jam period has had plenty of ups and downs. He’s
experimented with everything from classic rock to house music, eventually going solo in 1992. Having earned the respect
of many ‘90s Brit-pop rockers (Noel Gallagher of Oasis especially), Weller’s name was frequently dropped, and
a younger audience began to seek him out.
Since going solo, Weller has released nearly a dozen albums, experimenting with new musical textures on each one. In 2008,
he released 22 Dreams, a 22-track double-album exploring everything from classic rock to soul to electronic music. Both Noel
Gallagher and Graham Coxon collaborated on the record with him. Concert tickets to a Paul
Weller show are guaranteed to never be dull.
