This three-day event is schedule to take place from Thursday April 24th to Saturday April 26th. The best athletes in the country and beyond are set to take to the track to compete in more than 100 events over the course of these three days. Athletes from high school, college and track clubs all converge on Franklin Field in Philadelphia, PA to test themselves against some of the best athletes in the game. The Penn Relays are the oldest and largest track and field event in the United States, boasting a tradition that goes all the back to 1895, when the first event was held. The first event was held at the current location of the Penn Relays, Franklin Field, which is located at the University of Pennsylvania. The Penn Relays feature more than 100 different events each year, seeing some of the top athletes in the nation and from other countries competing. This is one of the most well-attended track and field events on an annual basis, often seeing more than 100,000 fans show up over the course of three days of competition.
