2015 Philadelphia Phillies Schedule

Citizens Bank Park is just one of those great places to see a ballgame, but you're not really going to figure that out sitting at home wondering what the atmosphere of the big game is like. The Phillies have one of the top teams in the division from one season to the next and will be looking to hunt down the Nationals all season long as they look to make their move in the N.L. East. It won't be easy, but that's part of the beauty of baseball as the Phillies look to pull it all together and take a step forward with the franchise. Thanks to a roster loaded with up-and-coming talent and some star veterans, this is a team that has no intention of going quietly in another riveting season of Major League Baseball.

There are going to be a lot of challenging opponents coming into Philly to try to take down the Phillies, though, which is why this team needs the support of its dedicated fans for the biggest matchups. But no matter who they have to face on the diamond, this is a well-rounded team that can do it in the batter's box, on the mound and with the leather, giving you plenty of reasons to head out and get right into the middle of the action this season. Citizens Bank Park has become an iconic part of the Philly sports scene, which is saying something considering that this is one of the great American sports towns.

But you also don't want to forget about all of the other big games on the schedule, as home games will limit you just to 81. Come out and see some of the road games on the schedule and you'll end up with a completely different perspective on your favorite team, and the Phillies fans definitely know how to travel with the team and show up in a big way wherever the Phillies do. There are all kinds of possibilities this season as the Phillies look to make it happen on the diamond, giving you lots of reasons to head out and see the Phillies up close and personal as they look to swing their way back into the mix.

Thanks to veteran hitters like Ryan Howard and Chase Utley, not to mention up-and-coming stars like Dominic Brown, Marlon Byrd and Ben Revere, the Phillies definitely know how to strike fear in pitchers around the league, but they also have plenty of firepower in the rotation as well. There has never been a better time to put down the remote and head out to see if they have the fire power to go all the way, as this is the type of team that can do a little bit of everything on the diamond and matchup well with any team they face this season. With that kind of overall talent and a schedule brimming over with possibilities, the Phillies are sure to generate plenty of fanfare around town for a reason.

Philadelphia Phillies Trivia

Did you know who holds the record single-season hitting streak for the Phillies?

The answer is Jimmy Rollins, who tallied hits in 36 straight games to give him one of the greatest hitting streaks of all-time. In total, Rollins tallied hits in 38 straight games including more than one season, which makes his streak even that much more impressive. The all-time MLB leader, of course, is Joe DiMaggio, who famously tallied a record 56 straight games with a hit back in 1941.
