Phoenix Suns Parking Passes

Phoenix Suns Parking Passes

The Venue

The US Airways Center is a venue located in Phoenix, AZ. The Phoenix Suns, a franchise in the Western Conference of the National Basketball Association, play their home games at this arena. The Suns hit the court at the US Airways Center at least 41 times each season, a number that could be higher if the team makes it to the postseason. The Phoenix Suns look to be a team on the rise in the Western Conference right now. The roster has undergone a massive overhaul as of late with a new general manager in place, and it looks like the Suns are pointed in the right direction. The team made a big trade in the offseason to acquire point guard Eric Bledsoe from the Los Angeles Clippers. Bledsoe is the crown jewel of this organization right now, a super-athletic guard that excels on the defensive end of the floor. Bledsoe is no slouch on offense, though, and he spent the last few years learning from Chris Paul, whom many people consider the best point guard in the entire National Basketball Association. People love to head to this arena to see the Phoenix Suns hit the hardwood and leave it all out on the floor.

The History

The US Airways Center opened in 1992 and has been the home of the Phoenix Suns for more than 20 years. This arena can hold more than 18,000 fans for Suns home games, and people show up in big numbers to see this exciting basketball team hit the court and take on some of the best opponents that the NBA has to offer. Being there in the stands at tip-off is always the best way to catch a game, and anyone that has ever witnessed a live game from their seats in the US Airways Center knows that very well. Phoenix is the capital and largest city in the state of Arizona. It is the sixth most populous city in the entire United States of America, trailing only New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston and Philadelphia.

Historic Events

There have been many memorable games played at the US Airways Center over the years. One that occurred early in the building's history was one of the most memorable games in the history of the National Basketball League. In 1993 the Phoenix Suns made the NBA Finals and faced off with the Chicago Bulls, a team led by all-time great Michael Jordan. In the third game of that NBA Finals that was played at this venue, Bulls guard John Paxson hit a famous shot to win the game and award the NBA Championship to the Chicago Bulls. It was one of six NBA title that Jordan and the Bulls would capture.

Calls to Action

Seeing an NBA game in person is a totally different experience than watching the contest from home. A television simply can't do these amazing players justice. These athletes hail from all over the world, and they all grew up with the dream of playing in the National Basketball Association. That's why you'll see them playing with every ounce of energy they've got night in and night out, making for some incredible basketball competition for fans to witness. These players are simply incredible, and their size, skills and effort will wow anyone that steps into the arena to see them play. Suns fans love to pack into this arena to see their team hit the hardwood, and you can join them at a game in the near future. It doesn't get any better than seeing some of the best players in the league perform right before your eyes.
