Connecticut dance group Pilobolus began in 1971 as an outsider dance group. Incorporating athletic abilities with creative
dance moves and skin tight uniforms, the group, now forty years later, is one of the pioneers in American dance. Revolving
around the three institutes – the dance theatre, The Pilobolus Institute, an educational program for schools, and other
organizations, and Pilobolus Creative Service, a division specializing in services for film, ads, which makes this dance
troupe so unique.
