About The Pink Floyd Laser Show
The Pink Floyd Laser Show
is the brain-child of Steve Monistere. Duringthe mid 1980s, Steve was working in San Antonio as a concert producer when he
was given the idea of creating a laser show, which at that time was rather unheard of. His first performance would result
in two sold out shows, and Steve would soon tweak his laser performance before taking his show on the road. He would start
performing locally before branching out across the US, selling out venues and amazing crowds across the country. Mark would
team up with marketing mogul Marc Solis, and the two would push the Pink Floyd Laser Show to the height of popularity.
Pink Floyd Laser Show road gang would continue to grow, adding Dave McConkey, Lane McConahy, and Ryan Waters to their roster,
with all members contributing to making the show bigger and better than ever. McConkey's contribution would be to take over
as the production manager while on tour, and also become the shows lead laserist. Day in and day out, you can catch Dave steering
the ship that is the PFLS by working the controls at every show. Lane McConahy has been the shows designated driver for decades,
making sure everything is where it needs to be in time for the show. Waters, the young gun in the outfit, helped revolutionize
the laser systems to make sure that the Pink Floyd Laser Show is always putting out the best show possible.
The Pink Floyd Laser Show has been delivering for more than 25 consecutive years, making it one of the longest
running concert shows in history. The PFLS has packs venue after venue, accosting the senses with a spectacular mix of amazing
music and out of this world visuals. The show may begin with a front to back playover of Dark Side of the Moon, the album
that is considered one of the best of all time that solidified Pink Floyd as one of the greatest bands in history. Whether
you're watching the show as "Time" drifts in and out of your eardrums or the cacophonous finish of "Eclipse" leaves you flabbergasted
and wondering what could possibly come next, there is no better way to enjoy this timeless classic.
