Pink tickets - Pink Tour

Pink Tour

It's the time that people all over the country have been waiting for, and now that it's finally here you can officially get excited because Pink is headed out for an all new tour that you won't want to miss out on. One of the most famous and successful pop rock stars of the generation is doing the world a favor by bringing her music to fans all over, so make sure that you're schedule is clear and that you'll be in the audience at one of her upcoming shows. The woman behind the hits "Get The Party Started", "Who Knew", "Trouble" and many more will be bringing her best to the stage and will undoubtedly pull out all the stops to give her fans the kind of show they've been waiting for. You're likely thinking that Pink will only be hitting the music hot spots like New York City or Los Angeles, but that's no even close to the case, as she has dates running through the rest of 2013 where she will be hitting stages from coast to coast and everything in between. So get excited for good times and good music because that's exactly what you're getting when you head out to see Pink perform live!

About The Band

Born in 1979 Pennsylvania, it was only a matter of time until Alecia Moore (better known by her stage name Pink or P!nk) took to the stage and the limelight the way she has. Surrounded by music at a young age, Pink was already hitting stages as a dancer and backup vocalist starting at the age of 13. Before she set off to rule the music world as the well known solo act that she is today, Pink was a part of a few musical groups that all dissolved quickly, despite her incredible talent. Her career really took off when she was given a solo deal and she set off to record her debut album which came in the form of 2000's "Can't Take Me Home". The album sported a slew of hit singles such as "There U Go", "Most Girls" and more that quickly shot their way up to the tops of the charts. The album was a massive success, eventually going double platinum and getting her the opening spot for bands like *N SYNC, although she soon grew weary with the teen pop genre that she had been associated with. Until her sophomore album she was part of a collaboration in the song "Lady Marmalade" for the film Moulin Rouge, with the song going on to win a Grammy and being Pink's first number one hit ever. Moving her music in a more personal and rock oriented direction came the very next year with "Missundaztood", the album that would become her biggest ever. The album was a massive success and was followed the next year by her third album, "Try This", which went on to Platinum in several countries and garnered the artist her first Grammy Award for her solo work. Since then she has released three more albums that have all seen incredible success and multiple hits making their ways up various charts.

Breakthrough Song

Unlike other groups who have to record and release a plethora of material before they get noticed, Pink gave her solo career a jump start with just one song. Preceding the release of her debut album "Can't Take me Home", Pink released her first single "There You Go" which went on to become a sensation and prepared the musical world for the bomb that she would drop in the form of her first album. And while that album went on to become double platinum, it was that first single that shot Pink's career into the highest ranks possible.

Pink Trivia

While Pink is a tremendous success and has a voice and talent that undoubtedly makes her one of the best in the industry, it's curious why her group projects that preceded her solo work never became a success. With her collaboration with Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim and others on the Moulin Rouge hit "Lady Marmalade" becoming a hit, her earlier group work should have been stellar as well right? Well in regards to her last group project before going solo, "Choice", there were differing opinions on the musical direction of the group and the members were all under 18 so they had to have their parents permission for many things. And while the group had recorded an entire album that was never released save for a single that was included in the "Kazaam" soundtrack, Pink was offered a solo contract that she couldn't refuse.

Fan Experience

But when her show inevitable does come to an end at the end of the night, you'll still have plenty of her hit singles stuck in your head long after you've gotten home from the show.
