Twin brothers Jesse and Matt Kivel teamed up with Ben Usen to form the band Princeton in 2005, taking their Southern California roots and parlaying the laidback surf culture into a breezy indie pop outfit. Princeton released their debut EP A Case of the Emperor's Clothes in 2006 and followed that up with the 2008 EP Bloomsbury.
Princeton's debut full-length album Cocoon of Love dropped in 2009 to critical acclaim, and the indie rockers have launched a full-fledged attack on the music scene ever since.
