This is a team that can do some serious damage in the Big Ten this season thanks to all the talent they’ve got up and down the roster. The Boilermakers of Purdue won a "mythical" national championship in 1932, before there was a standard tournament. NCAA basketball tickets to their home games were best in the mid 1990s. Purdue won the Big Ten championships in '94, '95, and '96. Recently the Big Ten has been a tough proving ground for the Boilermakers, but they have been getting to the NCAA Tournament as of late.
The Boilermakers know they’ll receive a ton of support from the crowd in Mackey Arena, but if fans can give them some support while on the road, this team is sure to step up their game.
