Red Bull Arena History
Red Bull Arena first opened in 2010 in Harrison, New Jersey as one of the few soccer-specific
stadiums in the United States to serve as the home of the New York Red Bulls of Major League Soccer. It quickly became popular

Harrison, New Jersey
Harrison is a small community in New Jersey that really sprung to life in the early Twentieth
Century. It is located not far from the home stadium of the NFL's New York Jets and Giants if you are in town for football
season. Also, it is always a great time to take the short trip to New York City and catch some world class theater. Theaters
are abundant in the city both on Broadway and off, and if you somehow tire of the theater scene there are plenty of museums
like the MoMA to explore, along with countless music venues offering a wide variety of live music. Of course visiting New
York landmarks like the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Central Park, and the Empire State Building is a must for any first
time visitor. If you are a sports fan there are several professional sports teams playing exciting games all over the city.

Red Bull Arena Seating Layout
Red Bull Arena seats just over 25,000 fans and is one of the biggest
soccer-specific stadiums in the United States. Its partial roof allows natural light onto the field while at the same time
providing some shade for spectators on hot summer days. Since the venue first opened its doors in 2010 it has been regarded
as one of the best places in the country to see a top tier soccer match.
The first game slated
for Red Bull Arena was a game between the Red Bulls Under-18 team and the U.S. National Under-17 team but it was canceled
due to weather. Instead the first game held at the stadium was a friendly between the Red Bulls and Santos FC of Brazil.
