        Reed Gym Tickets – The Man Behind the Gym

        Reed Gymnasium is one of ISU’s favorite places to enjoy ISU sports. Named after the University’s first president Miles F. Reed, the gymnasium has a rich history behind it. Reed Gym had some additions added in 1997, which included a new basketball court and an indoor climbing wall.         Reed Gym Tickets – About the Gym

        Reed Gym was preceded by Reed Hall, which was built in 1919. The hall was damaged in an earthquake in 1934, but was eventually razed and replaced by the Reed Gymnasium, which was built on the existing site in 1951. Most recently the current president, Arthur C. Vailas, participated in a ground-breaking ceremony to usher in a new era for the gym, adding yet another addition to this venerable building.
