Rentschler Field is home to the University of Connecticut football team and offers one

from being home to the University of Connecticut Huskies football team, Rentschler Field has also hosted UFL football games
as the home field of the Hartford Colonials as well as major international soccer matches. No matter the event, UCONN students,
alumni and fans flock to Rentschler Field for all the excitement. This season the Huskies have home games against the BYU
Cougars, the Stony Brook Seawolves, the Boise State Broncos, the Temple Owls, the Central Florida Knights, the Cincinnati
Bearcats, and the SMU Mustangs. Big time concerts by the likes of the Rolling Stones, Eminem, Bruce Springsteen, the Police,

Hartford is the capital
of Connecticut and is never at a shortage of things to do. The city emerged from the Civil War as the wealthiest one in the

The record attendance at Rentschler Field was set in 2013 when 42,704 fans showed up to watch the Huskies
take on the Michigan Wolverines in a close game which UCONN lost 24-21. Although the Whalers moved away from Hartford years
ago, Rentschler Field still held a Whalers Hockey Fest in 2011 which featured a game between Whalers alumni and alumni of
the Boston Bruins.
