Rhode Island Rams Basketball Schedule

Rhode Island has had a tough go of it during the 2013-2014 season and currently sit tied for last in the tough A-10 with a 2-10 conference record. However, the future appears bright for the Rams with young players like freshman E.C. Matthews who is averaging more than 13 points per game and will only become more dominant in the years to come. There have also been times during the season that the Rams have proven that they can hang with just about any team in the country like the one point home loss to the Saint Louis Billikens who are undefeated in conference play. There are ample opportunities for the Rams to finish the season on a winning note and prove that they will be back in contention for the A-10 crown next season. One such opportunity will be the A-10 Tournament, but there are also four more regular season games including two home games to close out the season. Be sure to head out and show the Rhode Island Rams your support as the 2013-2014 season comes to a close.

On March 1st the Richmond Spiders come to Ryan Center to take on the Rams to renew a long running A-10 rivalry. Whenever the Rams and the Spiders meet on the hardwood it is always a knock down drag out affair and the games usually go down to the wire. The final home game for Rhode Island takes place on March 5th when the Fordham Rams take on Rhode Island at the Ryan Center. This game also doubles as Senior Night and will be your opportunity to show gratitude for all of the players who are graduating and playing in their last game at Ryan Center, including Xavier Munford who is leading the Rams in scoring this year.
