Edgar Ricardo Arjona Morales was born on January 19, 1964 in Antigua, Guatemala. His background is varied, as he spent time as a basketball player with the Guatemalan national team and as a teacher. He always had a love for music, however, as he learned the guitar by the time he was eight years old. He began to release albums in 1985, and to date 15 of his works have been placed on the market. He now lives in Mexico, and is looking to introduce his work to the United States.
