Ross was born William Roberts and raised in Carol City, Florida. He grew up surrounded by inspirations of rap culture where
artists like Tupac Shakur, B.I.G. and Notorious took the nation by storm with their hits. During the 1990s, Ross formed a
rap group coined Carol City Cartel that eventually led him to inking a deal with Suave House Records that was additionally
home of 8Ball & MJG. It was, however, a nice surprise when Slip-n-Slide Records additionally took notice of his talent
and signed him on immediately. With the new recording house, Ross networked with hip-hop heavyweights like Trina and Trick
Daddy. He was also often included as a guest on mixtapes and albums. Additionally, Ross garnered a promotion when he was often
