With talented performers from all over the world, the Built to Amaze show combines athleticism, acrobatic talents, and exotic animals performing amazing tricks. Built to Amaze features famous performers like Alex and Irina Emelin, who have contributed significantly to the creative process behind Built to Amaze.

Making their debut in America, this Russian duo has spent years creating circus acts full of dance, comedy, animals, and magic. Before becoming project managers for the Built to Amaze production, Alex and Irina started their humble beginnings in Russia. Alex was born in Moscow to a working-class family. After watching his uncle perform in circuses as a clown, Alex became inspired to pursue his own career in the circus. He eventually moved to the Ukraine and began attending a professional circus school, and was thereafter invited to join the Nikulin Circus as an artist.

Irina also hails from Moscow, and comes from a second generation family of circus performers. Even as a young child, Irina already had her own monkey act. While touring in circus shows when she was older, Irina met Alex and they worked together with the Bolshevik State Circus and Hungary State Circus. Alex wanted to branch out and start building his own magical comedy act, so he brought along Irina as his assistant and the two soon fell in love.

After years of touring and hard work, the duo have finally made it to America. The Ringling Bros Circus are excited to have Alex and Irina as part of their creative team this year, and circus goers are sure to be amazed by the concoctions they have created. From high-flying acrobatics to thrilling tricks with exotic animals, the Ringling Bros Built to Amaze tour is like no other circus act you've ever seen.

The Built to Amaze show also features another husband and wife team. Dmitry Dolgikh and Nadejhda Tarasova execute jaw-dropping acts, including a sequence where Dmitry lifts Nadejhda up more than 30 feet in the air using only his jaw. This is just one of many thrilling acts that the Ringling Bros Built to Amaze show has planned for fans this year.
