got its start when couple Kalmia Traver (saxophonist and vocalist) and Alex Toth (band leader and trumpeter) met while attending
the University of Vermont and pursuing their respective music degrees. After they both graduated they joined forces with John
Brown's Body, a local reggae band, and immediately embarked on their first cross-country tour across the united states. Alex
Toth soon began efforts to begin his own band with a sound that would blend the types of music he loved most- indie rock,
psychedelic experimentation, dance beats, and horn arrangements that hitherto hadn't been utilized by his peers in the genre.

It wasn't soon after that Alex Toth was able to see his idea to fruition, as he and
Kalmia Traver recruited percussionist Craig Meyers, as well as a rotating cast of supporting members like keyboardist Darby
Wolf, trombonist and vocalist Adam Dotson, and guitarist Ian Hershey, to cultivate the lush and layered sound that Rubblebucket
has made their trademark. In 2008 they released Rose's Dream, their debut album, and quickly devoted themselves to touring
full-time. 2009 marked three more national tours, and their tireless efforts were rewarded with accolades ranging from a spot
on Relix Magazine's "On The Verge: 5 Artists You Should Know" list to the title of "Must-hear artist from the 2009 CMJs" from

Rubblebucket's self-titled second album broke onto the scene
in October of 2009 and their performance of their new tracks garnered them the Boston Music Award for Live Act of the Year.
The following year the band relocated to their new home base of Brooklyn, New York and kicked off yet another tour of the
summer's hottest music festivals, including All Good Music Festival, High Sierra, and Liberate Music and Dance Festival. Following
a successful season, Triangular Daisies was released and the EP received critical praise for their cover of the song "Michelle,"
which was named on the list of 50 Greatest Beatles Covers of all time from Paste Magazine. Rubblebucket continued their legacy
of success with Omega La La (2011) and Oversaturated EP (2012), and their tireless touring schedule has kept them at the forefront
